With immense pleasure, I would like to share that Green University Textile Club (GUTC) in collaboration with the Department of Textile Engineering, organized the Freshers’ Orientation program for the “Fall 2022” semester on October 06, 2022 at 02:30 PM. This program was arranged to welcome the freshers’ to the permanent campus.

At the program, Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, Vice Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh, was present as an honorable chief guest, while Dr. Nitai Chandra Sutradhar, Distinguished Professor and Chairperson, was present as a session chair, and Prof. Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman, Treasurer of GUB, was present as an honorable special guest. Among others, club moderators, program coordinators, faculty members, department coordination officers, club members, alumni members, and more than 30 newly admitted students were present at the program. Throughout this program, the freshers have enriched their knowledge regarding the disciplines, their scope, and opportunities from the respected teachers of the department. This program was essential to increasing inter-batch communication among faculty members.

Dr. Nitai Chandra Sutradhar, Chairperson of the Dept. of TE, briefly presented how to become a good textile engineer. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of a successful textile engineer having a strong blend of theoretical and practical expertise.
