Successful completion of Industrial Visit at Esquire Knit Composite Ltd. by The Department of Textile Engineering

Assalamualaikum. Hope you are doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah.
I’m very happy to share with you that on 12 November 2022 (Saturday), the Department of Textile Engineering successfully organized an Industrial Visit at Esquire Knit Composite Ltd., Kanchpur, Narayanganj, one of the leading industries in our country. Its main products are knitted t-shirts, polo shirts, men & ladies dresses.
The number of students were 35 comprising 192 and 193 batch accompanied by two faculty members of the Textile Engineering Department, Mehnaz Jebin & Md. Sherazul Islam.
The journey began at 8:00 o’clock in the morning. We reached the industry around 10 o’clock.The industry welcomed us with an introductory speech about the industry. The students were then separated into two groups, each group being given a supervisor. They visited all the dept. of the factory i.e knitting, dyeing, washing, cutting, embroidery, printing and sewing section under the supervision of the assigned supervisor. Students documented their learning in a notebook and gave reflection to the faculties. Finally, they bid us adieu at 4pm.
The morning snacks and lunch were provided to the students. Overall, it was a very fruitful day for the students. They were very happy by getting the opportunity to experience the practical field of their respective study area. Some glimpses of the mill visit have been attached below.
