Invitation to the Grand Inauguration Ceremony of TEX FEST-2021
Assalamu Alaikum. Greetings from the Department of Textile Engineering. Hope you are doing well.
It is a great pleasure for me to inform you that the Department of Textile Engineering is going to arrange TEX FEST-2021 in 11th and 12th December, 2021. TEX FEST-2021 will be celebrated in virtual space.
The Department of Textile Engineering has designed the program focusing on blending of information and entertainment. Another main concern about the program is to make alumni involvement as much as possible.
It is a great pleasure for us to inform you that, Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Green University of Bangladesh has given his kind consent to ornament our Grand Inauguration Ceremony as a Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque, Advisor, Green University of Bangladesh, Prof. Dr. Md. Fayjur Rahman, Treasurer, Green University of Bangladesh and Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Azad, Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Green University of Bangladesh also provided their kind consent to present as Special Guests of the Grand Inauguration Ceremony of TEX FEST-2021. Renowned industrialist, a shining star of textile sector Mr. Monowar Hossain Palash, Director, Asutex International, Malaysia, Managing Director, Inobiz, Canada and Vice-President, Biomedical Research Foundation will be our Guest of Honor for the Grand Inauguration Ceremony. This session will be chaired by Prof. Dr. Nitai Chandra Sutradhar, Distinguished Professor and Chairman, Department of Textile Engineering.
In the first day of TEX FEST-2021, after the grand inauguration ceremony, there will be a Students-Alumni-Teacher Get Together Session and, in the evening, the final rounds of Online Gaming Contest (Ludo, Chess) among students, alumni members, teachers and staffs will take place.
The second day of the TEX FEST-2021 will be started with the Textile Related Innovative Project Presentation Session. In the afternoon session there will be a Quiz Contest among the students of the Department using Kahoot and Zoom Platform. Then there will be a segment titled Career Talk, in which researcher and academician Mr. Md. Amran-Al-Taz Khan, Graduate Research Assistant, University of Texas at San Antonio will guide our students regarding their higher study opportunities. Finally, the festival will be concluded by E-certificate Distribution among the students who will participate in various games and contests throughout the program.
