Laboratories: The department has well equipped following laboratories for practical Classes:
1. Yarn manufacturing Lab: This lab is equipped with spinning machines capable of producing yarn from blow room lap. Here students gain hands-on experience of machinery and yarn production including gear diagram, change of gears and related calculations.
2. Fabric Manufacturing Lab: Fabric manufacturing lab is being developed with various machineries, designed fabrics and different machine elements from home and abroad i.e. India which are helpful for the students to know about layout plan, different methods of fabric manufacturing like weaving and knitting, the mechanism of the available machines, machine parts, their functions, production capacity and end product, different fabric structure and designs etc. Students are able to teach how to operate the machine and get the experience of job environment which enhance their practical knowledge. By this knowledge, they gain great ability to compete with others in job sector.

3. Wet processing Lab: Green University of Bangladesh (GUB), one of the top private universities in Bangladesh. We have a very well rich Textile Wet Processing lab. The Textile Wet Processing Lab is equipped with industrial sample dyeing machine, Wash fastness tester, Padding mangle, Color matching cabinet and other specialized industrial equipment. Textile Wet processing (TWP) is the most significant division in the textile preparation and processing. It is a major stream in textile engineering which is under the section of textile chemical processing engineering and applied science. We have established a well design laboratory that we can perform pre-treatment, coloration and finishing process (Singeing, Desizing, Scouring, Bleaching, Dyeing, Printing and Finishing) of textile materials. This practical knowledge will help them to learn more effectively and find an industrial environment so that he/she adapt easily to the job sector.
4. Apparel Manufacturing Lab: This lab offers an integrated educational and practical process from industrial uses to research work. The lab is furnished with a range of industrial sewing machines, washing machines, Heater, Irons and cooker pan( Washing bath). Tables are there to use for making patterns ,markers and cloth cutting .A list of sewing machines are :1)Plain Machine (Single Needle lock stitch) 02)Double needle sewing machine (Double needle chain stitch ) 03)Feed of the Arm sewing machine 04)Multi Needle chain stitch (kansai special) 05)Flat Lock Sewing Machine ) 06)Over Lock Sewing Machine 07)Button Hole Sewing Machine 08)Button Attach Sewing Machine 09)Bar tack Sewing Machine 10)Blind Stitch Sewing Machine . In addition to these, there are washing Machine and Heater for demonstrating different types of washing and uses. This lab is well equipped for the purpose of wide range of Garments item manufacturing.
