Introduction

Textile Engineering is a very prospective and extended field of education in our country. The Textile Engineering Department of Green University of Bangladesh amplifies a research committee which conducts creative and systematic works on different fields of textiles through documentation, discovery, interpretation, or the research and development (R&D) of methods and systems for the advancement of knowledge of the students.

Optimization of parameters of different spinning machines, Development of different types of modified yarn based on changing fiber composition

 

2.      Fabric Manufacturing Engineering

Fabric design analysis, Development of woven and knitted fabrics for different end-uses, Advancement of different weaving and knitting machines with their mechanisms

3.      Apparel Manufacturing Engineering

Advanced technology of pattern making and cutting, Industrial engineering, Merchandising, Garments production, Fashion and designing sector

4.      Wet Processing Engineering

Pretreatment process, Eco-friendly dyeing, cost effective dyeing and finishing process, Nanotechnology etc.
