Successful Completion of Day Two of TEX FEST-2022 (City Campus)
Assalamualaikum. Greetings from the Department of Textile Engineering. Hope you are doing well.
It is our great pleasure to inform you that the Department of Textile Engineering has successfully completed TEX FEST-2022. The program was held on 29.12.2022 (Thursday) and 30.12.2022 (Friday). The program schedule for Day 02 are as follows:

Cultural Program
The first segment of Day 02 of TEX FEST 2022 was a seminar on Career Talk and Innovative Idea & Presentation. The main contest of Innovative Idea & Presentation was held three days prior to the second day of TEX FEST 2022. The final round was completed on 27/12/2022 at 4 pm where all judges and faculty members along with the participants were present. An excellent session was held that day and announced first, second and third place positions. The students who got first prize made a poster on his presentation. the poster was displayed the whole day of TEX FEST.
The keynote speaker for the Career Talk session was Mr. Sadman Sadik, Course Instructor – 10 Minutes School. Mr. Sadman is very well known as a motivational speaker and he engaged with our students in a very interactive session.
The Second Session of Day 02 was Memory Reminiscing by Alumni Members. The program was successfully organized with a large number of participations from Alumni, Students & Faculty members of the Department. Some alumni share their feelings about their professional life, experiences, suggestions, etc. Some also give some constructive feedback about the Department. The session chair for this program was Prof. Dr. Nitai Chandra Sutradhar, Distinguished Professor and Chairman, Dept. of Textile Engineering, Green University of Bangladesh.
After that, the Prize and Certificate Distribution ceremony of TEX FEST 2022 was held in Green Garden, Green University of Bangladesh. The event started at 4.00 PM. Our honorable Vice-chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir was present as chief guest and special guests were Brig. Gen. Md. Mahboob Sarwar, phd (Registrar, GUB), Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Azad (Dean, FSE, GUB), Prof. Dr. ASM Shihavuddin (Chairperson, Department of EEE, GUB) were present as special guests. The session chair was Prof. Dr. Nitai Chandra Sutradhar (Chairperson and Distinguished Professor, Department of Textile Engineering, GUB). The chief guest and special guests handed over the prizes among the winners and Runner ups of various segments of TEX FEST 2022.
Then the Cultural Night began at 5:30 pm and lasted until 9 pm. The students, Alumni & Teachers from the Department actively participated in various segments like singing, drama, dance, poetry, etc. The TEX FEST 2022 ended with a colorful vibe at around 9 pm.
