Successful completion of Industrial Visit at Pretty Industrial Park by The Department of Textile Engineering
Assalamualaikum. Hope you are doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah.
We are pleased to inform you that on 27 November 2022 (Sunday), the Department of Textile Engineering successfully organized an Industrial Visit at Pretty Industrial Park Ltd., Zamgora, Ashulia, one of the leading industries in our country. Basically, they are manufactured and export knitted t-shirts, polo shirts, sweaters, men’s & ladies dresses etc.
The number of students was 27 comprising 201 batches of permanent campus accompanied by two faculty members of the Textile Engineering Department, Md. Mubashwir Moshwan & Faijun Farin.
The journey began at 6:40 o’clock in the morning. We reached the industry around 8:10 o’clock. The industry welcomed us with an introductory speech about the industry. The students were then separated into two groups, each group being given a supervisor also two faculty members continuously helping to collaborate with them. They visited all the dept. of the factory i.e Yarn dyeing, knitting, fabric dyeing, finishing, cutting, printing and sewing section, ETP also the sweater section under the supervision of the assigned supervisor. Students documented their learning in a notebook and gave reflections to the faculties. Finally, they bid us adieu at 2:30 pm.
The morning snacks were provided to the students. Overall, it was a very productive day for the students. They were pleased by getting the opportunity to experience the practical field of their respective study area. I’ve attached some glimpses of the mill visit below.
