Industrial Visit to Aptech Industrial Park by The Department of Textile Engineering
We are very happy to share with you that on 12 March 2022 (Saturday), the Department of Textile Engineering has successfully organized an Industrial Visit at Aptech Industrial Park, located in Kashimpur, Gazipur. Aptech is one of the leading industries in our country. It’s main products are denim jeans & blazers. Also it is an ECO friendly Industry.
There were 36 students participated in this visit, among them 26 are from city campus 183 Batch & the rest are from 191, 192 Batch of Permanent Campus. They were accompanied by two faculty members of the Textile Department Mr. Monir Hossain & Mr. Omor Faruque.
As it was the first industrial visit after the pandemic, the students were very eager. The journey started at 8 am in the morning. They reached the industry at around 11 am. They were warmly welcomed in the industry. The Director of Admin Col. Md. Mozammel Hossain (Retd.) sir gave an introductory welcoming speech towards the students. Then the students were divided into three groups, each group being given a supervisor. They documented their learning in their notebook and gave reflection to the faculties at the end of the day. The students bought a gift for the Director of Admin Col. Md. Mozammel Hossain (Retd.) to show their gratitude.
The lunch was also provided by the industry. Overall, it was a very fruitful day for the students. Some glimpse of that has been attached below.
