TEX FEST-2020: Successful Completion of Day Two

It is a great pleasure for us to inform you that the Second Day of TEX FEST-2020 has successfully completed. It was the final day of the program.

The first segment of this day was Innovative Textile Related Project Presentation. The students of the Department of Textile Engineering showcased their various innovative ideas in front of judges. Around 50 participants were present in this segment.

The second segment of the Second Day of TEX FEST-2020 was Quiz Contest. This event created a huge buzz among the students. The competition was conducted using Kahoot and Zoom platform. The participations of the students were spontaneous in this contest.

The third segment of TEX FEST-2020 was Career Talk. Three renowned speakers were present in this session and provided important career guidelines to the students. Specially they discussed about the prospect of research career and opportunities of higher studies in textile in abroad.

Finally, the program was concluded with E-certificate Distribution Ceremony and Cultural Night. The senior faculty members of the Department of Textile Engineering delivered brief speech in the end. Prof. Dr. Nitai Chandra Sutradhar, Distinguished Professor and Chairperson, Department of Textile Engineering, Green University of Bangladesh highly appreciated the large presence of the students and alumni members in various segments of TEX FEST-2020. He wished to continue this type of efforts from Department of Textile Engineering in future also.
