Successful Completion of Session 02 of TEX FEST-2021 (Alumni- Students-Teacher Get Together)

Assalamu Alaikum! Hope you are doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah. With immense pleasure I would like to inform you that the Second Session of TEX FEST-2021 (Alumni- Students-Teacher Get Together) has successfully completed with a large number of participation from Students, Faculty members & Alumni of the Department.

The program started with a welcome speech from the Deputy Club Moderator of Green University Textile Club – Md. Mazharul Helal. Then a Dua Session was conducted for our beloved students Md. Mahdi Hasan lemon (ID: 183003023), who died recently in a road accident.

Then Prof. Dr. Md. Ismail Chowdhury Sir emphasized on the importance of this kind of interaction between teacher, students & alumni.

The chair of the session was Prof. Dr. Nitai Chandra Sutradhar, Distinguished Professor and Chairman, Dept. of Textile Engineering, Green University of Bangladesh. Sir discussed the participation of alumni in various aspects of the department i.e. curriculum modification, implementation of OBE etc.

Throughout the session Alumni, Faculty members & Students participated in an open session on sharing thoughts and opinions on various matters. Some Alumni also shared their job life experience with the students & gave them various advice to face the upcoming challenges of their life.

Finally,  a concluding remark was given by Dr. Jagannath Bishwas, Associate Professor, Green University of Bangladesh.

Overall it was a very interactive session.
