Mill Visit
Textile Engineering Department of Green University of Bangladesh arranges mill visit in various reputed textile industries. This mill visit is organized every semester to inspire the students about textile sector. This gives practical knowledge about job life and its whole environment and enhance interaction between teachers and students. Around 40 students of different batches and three faculty members (Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Senior Lecturer; Md. Azizul Islam, Lecturer and Suraiya Ireen, Lecturer) were participated in a mill visit on 10th March, 2018 which was held in Divine Fabrics Ltd, Palli Biddut, Chandra kaliakoir, Gazipur. They visited knitting section, knit dyeing and finishing section, Yarn dyeing, all over print, central laboratory and garments section. After visiting these departments there was also a special session conducted by the Executive Director of Divine Group, Mr. Selim Reza. His valuable speech was informative and inspirable for the students and they have learnt many effective things related with job life from such an experienced individual.
