Successful completion of Industrial Visit to Chorka Textile Ltd. by The Department of Textile Engineering

It is our great pleasure to inform you that on  21 May (Sunday) 2023, the Department of Textile Engineering  successfully organized an Industrial Visit at  Chorka Textile Ltd, Kazir Char, Narsingdi, Sister concern of PRAN-RFL Group. It’s main products are knitted t-shirts, trousers, jackets and lingerie items.

The number of students were 29 comprising 193,202,211 ,212 and 213 batch of parmanent campus accompanied by two faculty members of the Textile Engineering Department, Faijun Farin  & Abrar Yasir Abir.

The journey began at 9:00 o’clock in the morning. We reached the industry around 11 o’clock. The industry welcomed us with an introductory speech about the industry. In that session, respected AGM ,GM and ED sir were present and gave their valuable motivational speeches .The students were then separated into two groups, each group being given a supervisor.

They visited all the dept. of the factory i.e Merchandising department, Storage,  cutting, Sewing, Finishing,embroidery and printing section under the supervision of the assigned supervisor. Students documented their learning in a notebook and gave reflection to the faculties. Finally,  The AGM sir and Head of Admin & HR Department  of this industry conclude the program with a question and answer session . they bid us adieu at 4:30 pm.
